DEGRASSI: In Too Deep Teen Nick Promos

First of all, can I say “That’s What She Said?” I love the title for the last 12 episodes, but I’m always going to think of something else when I hear the name. On Saturday we saw an extended version and a condensed version of basically the same promo. Im currently analyzing the promo and will post everything ASAP. Enjoy!

This promo is one of the best I’ve seen. It leaves us with so many questions, the biggest of course being Eclare.
We found out that Clare wants her space from Eli, but why? When Alli says “Does Eli know that?” it gives me inclination that Clare is hiding something from Eli, much like Eli was hiding something from Clare. Of course Clare has too much on her mind with her parents divorcing, dealing with Eli’s hoarding and what could possibly be the biggest one of them all, Eli still having thoughts of Julia. This could all lead her to question the relationship she has with Eli.

Eli seems to be dependent on Clare. Whether or not his hoarding is getting better, he may feel that Clare (much like Julia) is the only thing he has going for him. When Clare tells him “You’re suffocating me!” he may begin to panic and realize his life is going down. Now the promo leaves us with Eli telling Clare on the phone “Remember, you promised you would never leave me,” as he hangs up on Clare and possibly gets into a crash.

Holly J is seen with a bandage on her forehead, most likely unrelated to the situation but who really knows with the way Teen Nick misleads us.

I’m really at a loss of words about the love triangle that is fadam J. I don’t buy Fadam as a couple and I definitely don’t buy Holly J as a lesbian. Not to say that will happen, but the way Fiona was acting towards her and not exactly hating it was a little odd. Although I can’t see Holly J being one I defintely get the vibe that Fiona could be a lesbian. Don’t ask me why, I have great lesdar!

Alli can’t deal with all the things around her turning out so badly, she decides her only choice is to runaway. This seems to make it worse for her and could be the reason why Sav and her father are out looking for her.

Finally, I have been looking at this promo for hours now and can not see what Eli is holding when he smashes something into “Morty.” He definitely has something in his hand. I’m assuming this is right after Clare says she needs a break and right before he hops into his car and seemingly crashes it. So this might be something he holds near and dear to his heart. Of course this is all speculation.
