Final part of the Degrassi Blogging Series: The Dots Explodes

Actually, before I talk about The Dot, ET Canada did a piece about Fiona’s abusive relationship with new boyfriend Bobby. It really explains a lot more about the situation. Thanks to Erin from Degrassi-Fans.com for the video.

Also, I want to address what Stefan Brogren and Melinda Shankar said on Twitter earlier today. If you didn’t see it, here is what Stefan Tweeted

Sad scene with Alli and Clare. I’m in it and I’m tearing up! Keep it together, Brogren! Maybe if I stopped tweeting I could concentrate.

Our crew is all crying. (well, not all of them) Such a sad/great scene.

Then Melinda Shankar, who plays Alli on the show Tweeted Stefan back with this:

haha thank youuuu.. yeaa most def the most intense scene i’ve ever ever shot in my history of degrassi!

Stefan tweeted back with what I think could be a big hint, but again I always read too much into things:

you killed it.

This makes me wonder if CLARE will die this season. The scene is with Principal Simpson, Clare and Alli. As we know Clare and Alli have been slowly drifting apart in the last few episodes. Even more than just Clare dying, I’m thinking that Alli might go to far and kill Clare. It was a very sad and great scene with people crying. The scene had to be extreme for people to cry. Just something to think about.

This is a very short video to disect, but so many things could have happened to set the Dot off.

With Spinner and Emma outside, I’m assuming Peter is inside working. One thing to note, when Drew goes into the Dot in a promo and says that he transferred to the school down the street, The Dot looks to me to be slightly remodelled and Peter is still working there. But with the new camera’s, it could just be an effect i’m not used to.

Here are some guesses as to what could have caused the explosion via Twitter:
@Senchacha: Obviously a gas leak most likely or someone left the oven on. Spinner’s gonna be in trouble oooooo

@StevenGioe: so my first thought was simply a gas leak, but someone on imdb through around it somehow being peter’s fault after a relapse

@saandungun shotttttt. someone’s gonna go BOOM.

As for what I think, I would want Peter to relapse in which he blows up The Dot, but probably will not happen. I would say a gas leak. I’m not actually sure what this could be. We don’t have any back story about it and is hard to think of any plausible explanation that could be behind this.

Some people have said that this could have to do with the lockdown, but that will happen during Season 10 in the mid-season finale. Again I am stumped.
