Degrassi reveals MORE characters for Season 10

Season 10 has been underway for quite sometime. We are getting more and more information about the historic 30th season each day. Today we have learned about the four new cast members for Season 10. The three we didn't know about are: Munro Chambers who plays Eli, Alicia JosiPovic who plays Bianca and Jordan Todosey who plays Adam. This is an addition to Cory Lee, who we found out will play Ms. Oh, taking over the M.I. class.

With people leaving after season 9, I understand why they need new characters. They want to keep the same amount each year, I'm assuming. But do they need 20-30 characters for the cast? If you have been with me for awhile, you know it irritates me when they bring in new characters and disregard the old ones (leia, Connor, Blue, etc.). I usually think the show would be better off if they focused more on the current characters, but then change my mind once the new characters start to develop (Fiona, Declan). Right now i am not a huge fan of the new characters, EXCEPT CORY LEE.

I have a few reasons why i am a fan of Cory Lee and none of them have to do with the fact she was on Instant Star, because i didn't even watch the show. First of all, we need more authority figures on the show. I know Degrassi has always been about the teenage characters but remember the days of Snake, Spike, Joey, Caitlin and all the others who made brief appearances? It was a good change and i really miss it. Im not saying that bringing in a teacher will change everything but the fact they are bringing in another teacher gives me hope that we will see more adults! Another reason why its a great idea for Cory Lee to be on the show is that…well…to be frank…she's uber-hott. What do you bet there will be a teacher-fantasy episode in the first couple shows. I almost can guaranty it. errrr maybe thats just me???
